WHO WE ARE ?
The Puerto Rico State Guard Command, is the State Defense Force (SDF) created by Law 88 of 8 August 2023, also known as the Puerto Rico Military Code Century XXI. This command is one of the three military branches comprising the Puerto Rico National Guard and is composed of volunteers who dedicate their time and expertise to enhancing military capabilities. Its primary mission involves providing support to the Puerto Rico National Guard, state and federal agency.

ARMY
The Puerto Rico Army State Guard Command is comprised of the 400th Multifunctional Support Brigade (MFSB). Over 800 men and women serving in the Military Police Battalion (MP), Engineer Battalion (EN), and Civil Support Battalion (CSB) in joint operations with the Puerto Rico National Guard.
MEDICAL COMMAND
The 900th Army Medical Command comprises Health Care Providers who lend their support to the Puerto Rico National Guard and the Department of Health in the event of natural disasters or public health emergencies. Among these Health Care Providers are Physicians, Nurses, Paramedics among other Health Care Providers.
AIR BASE GROUP
The 1st Air Base Group consists of the Headquarter, Mission Support Squadron, and the Medical Support Squadron. More than 250 Airmen serve our nation during times of emergency. The 1st Air Base Group operates solely within the Metropolitan Joint Task Force of the Puerto Rico National Guard.
SEPARATE UNIT'S
The Joint Forces Headquarters' Separate Units consist of the Strategic Communications, Military Institute, Military Band, and Recruitment and Retention. More than a hundred Guard members serve within these distinct units, providing vital support to our communities and nation.

Soldiers and Airmen conducted its Periodic Health Assessment (PHA) in preparation for 2024 Hurricane Season.
From January 25 to 28, 2024, the Puerto Rico National Guard, State Guard Command conducted its Periodic Health Assessment (PHA) 2024 at Fort Allen, Juana Diaz, P.R. with the purpose of preparing for the 2024 Hurricane season. Over 800 soldiers and airmen successfully completed their medical evaluation. The Puerto Rico National Guard, State Guard Command continues to innovate and improving its administrative procedures for the benefit of the men and women who make up the Puerto Rico National Guard, State Guard Command. We congratulate all the leaders who made this mission possible, especially CW2 Myrna Perez (JFHQ), WO1 Josephine Alvelo (JFHQ), and their team of enlisted personnel who participated over the past few days. To all of them, thank you for your support and commitment.
